We had a very enjoyable evening meal at this establishment. Good friendly service, plenty of choice for both food and drinks, The seating with pleasant views of the estuary was a bonus. Overall, a great experience at a reasonable price.

I have been coming to kippford since a 3yr old , on Friday the 4th July I had another wonderful meal here for 32nd birthday, I love the views , was telling my boyfriend all about coming as a child , so many happy memories, Angela who served us is so funny , very helpful, met the guy who has own the pub for over 30+ yrs , I said the food is like home to home and so glad the pub hasn't changed as it's exactly how I remember as a child, would so highly recommend it's a true diamond , locals are as I remember them friendly funny , this has to my favourite pub in the world without a shadow of a doubt

This area is one of our favourite places to be in the world and the Mariners is a great place to go for a quiet pint on a rainy afternoon or a refreshing g’n’t on a sunny day. The rooms we spotless and very comfortable with a great view out over the inlet, so you can watch the tide roll in and out. Angela and Dave are great hosts and go over and above to make us feel welcomed. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend people to the Mariner.

We have had the best 3 days in this hotel. Room very comfortable and clean. We had a view of the sea which was great to wake up to. Breakfast was lovely. We enjoyed our evening meal so much we ate there every night. The staff were very friendly and knowledgable about the area. We spent our evenings sat at the front looking at the view chatting to Fellow guests.

Situated within Kippford with view of the Estuary. Nice enough place, only had a few drinks. Taken some pics of the menu as they seem hard to find online. .
